About the Role
Educational Psychologists are the essential ‘first stop’ to which students will go for broad generic testing of IQ, achievement, attention, adaptive learning and other neuro-developmental challenges. Our successful candidates must have strong fundamental abilities in the administration of psychometric tests. We will be able to provide additional training for assessments that you may be unfamiliar with. Educational Psychologists will also be administering programs that our center will be providing training for. These programs include administering literacy remediation, cognition development, and autism remediation program for students.
Requirements
Qualifying Factors
Candidates ideally possess a Master’s Degree in Educational/Clinical Psychology
Must be a self-starter and willing to work as the only Psychologist in our team
Assessments
Conduct psycho-educational assessments: assess developmental, intellectual, behavioural and/or psychological analysis of children
Conduct screening assessments for school placements and other developmental related assessments
Clinical Work
Develop and implement appropriate intervention strategies to address clients' developmental/learning/emotional/behavioural issues
To conduct individual or group psychotherapy: Individual, group or family therapy
To conduct talks/training/seminars to schools and other stakeholders when required to do so
Facilitate training for staff and caregivers
Administrative Duties
To write case reports, assessment reports and letters to related stakeholders when necessary.
